Q.How do I add a Wedding days signature to my MSN Hotmail email?
AHotmail, no longer accepts HTML signatures, but you can still use the Daisypath tickers by dragging the images directly into the Signature box. If you previously created your Hotmail signature using HTML, you may need to redo it.
These instructions are using Firefox, Internet Explorer or MSN Explorer as your browser, and they work for the Classic and Live versions of Hotmail.
In your browser go to any webpage where your ticker is displayed, eg. the preview image when you create a ticker, or if you have a My Daisypath account your display tickers page.
Open another browser window (Ctrl N), and if necessary, resize them up so you can see both at the same time. In the second window sign in to your Hotmail account. In Hotmail:
- Go to Mail
- Click on Options link (top right). For the new Live Mail interface you then need to click on More options link at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
- Click on Personal E-mail Signature
- Go to the window with your Daisypath ticker, click on the image and drag it over to your Hotmail signature box.
- If click-dragging the image doesn't work. You can use the shortcut keys to copy-and-paste the image. To do this:
- Right click on your ticker image and choose Copy.
- Click in your Hotmail signature box and then click on Ctrl-V (the shortcut for Paste), by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and clicking on V.
- When your image appears in Hotmail, click on Save under the Hotmail signature box and you are done.
Q.The Wedding days image isn't showing up in my Hotmail mail, all I get is the text in a link. How do I get it to show up?
AThe Hotmail signature field no longer allows you to enter HTML for your signature. To create a signature you need to paste in the image. If you previously created your Hotmail signature using HTML, and it is now displaying as code instead of an image you will need to redo it. There are step-by-step instructions here.
Q.How do I delete my signature from my Hotmail account?
AIn Hotmail:
- Go to Mail
- Click on Options link (top right).
- Click on Personal Signature.
- Select the code snippet, or image you pasted in, click on your delete button to remove the ticker and then click on OK and your signature is gone.

ATo have multiple signatures, you can just continue to copy-and-paste the ticker images as per the above step-by-step instructions. To place each ticker on a separate line, click on your Return key before pasting in the next ticker.
